Hotel Club Ravezzo

We stayed for 9 days in this beautiful place in Salento. The transparent sea and the very long sandy beach are the best qualities together with the kindness of the staff. If it is true that the hotel should be renovated because it does not respect the characteristics of a 4 star, the cleanliness, the food combined with the kindness and professionalism of the staff overshadow this aspect. I would recommend this place to those looking for a quiet location a few km from Gallipoli and S. Maria di Leuca which can be reached quickly if you want to spend more "lively" evenings. Relaxing holiday between sea and tourism!!!!👍

We stayed in this hotel in mid-July. Good care and cleaning of the rooms, good general conditions of the hotel. Availability of the entire staff. Choice of meals by the restaurant with side dish buffet. Excellent beach service together with Gino's kiosk and his delicacies. Overall we had a good, relaxing week. We especially thank Nico and his staff for their friendliness.

I normally review hotels when I can give 4/5 points, otherwise I leave it out because whether or not you feel good in a place is almost always a question of personal experiences and tastes; but this time I can't help it. It was a tough holiday, two weeks (too many for a place that isn't convincing), without managing to establish a relationship of trust and affection. The hotel appeared simple, bordering on functionality, yet very noisy and chaotic; an unserved little bar when needed, two unused terraces on the second floor, the room with a cupboard perhaps enough for one person for a three-night stay, frozen (it warmed up after three days of air conditioning turned off); there was also condensation from the air conditioner that almost dripped onto the bed. It is not enough to tell customers in advance that the structure is old, because if you want it can always be improved. We had the room that looked at the "back", just above the kitchen perhaps, we could hear all kinds of unbearable noises in the evening. The restaurant is absolutely not loved; I've been coming to Puglia for twenty years, and honestly I've never eaten so badly except for just one year. The first courses all have the same flavour, inedible grilled meat, impossible to cut, the tuna very hard, dry, with an old and overcooked flavour; I sent the dish back several times, something I have never done in twenty years of holidays in Puglia, and I find this quite serious for a 4 star. The partner beach is also accessible to customers outside the hotel, in the middle of two practically saturated free beaches; the basic rules regarding meters of free space for rescue operations during the weekend were not even respected; we were in the front row, paying to get hit in the face because they came to play in front of the sunbeds. Noises in the rooms, in the corridors, in the street and on the beach (without blaming the hotel for these), non-existent soundproofing, the noise of the wind in the room which sounded like a hurricane, all day, every day. I thought I was going to a quiet place after reading the reviews, but there is absolutely nothing quiet about it, tranquility is something else entirely. The hotel is fine for those who are not looking for silence, as it was in my case. It doesn't have the services of a 4 star in the most absolute way and it costs a lot for what it offers. I'm probably very well used to it, where 4 stars really are, in every service, and tranquility is the watchword. The only positive note, together with the proximity to the beach and the cleanliness of the common areas (because it wasn't exceptional in the room and bathroom), I reserve it for the wonderful sea and for all the hotel staff including that of the kiosk, who in any case were always very kind . It is a great shame that Salento is raising prices more and more, disproportionately, without offering the services it once did, and this hotel is clear proof of this; it is certainly quite sad that a hotel like this is classified as 4 stars, when the catering and service leave much to be desired and border on 2 stars. I won't go back.

We had a wonderful holiday. Hotel staff very helpful, especially Massimo the night porter, Vincenzo, Angela, Francesca etc. Also very good Gino at the establishment and the lifeguard Riccardo who makes the world his....😁. The only flaw is that I didn't like the service at the kiosk due to the plastic cups and cardboard plates!! We will be back for sure. A nice recommended place

We spent a fantastic week in this hotel, the structure is a bit old, the rooms are poorly soundproofed and for this reason I don't give it 5 stars but the staff is fantastic, super helpful both at the reception Angela and Vincenzo and at the lido and especially Francesca , Nicola and Aurora in the dining room made us have a holiday that we hadn't experienced like this for years. Cleanliness at the top!
